This is the perfect gift for someone who has a new pet, or someone involved with animals as a career. Or it could even be artwork for a pet that you want to honor.

This is not what you usually think of when you think "painting'.... I actually used hot wax to form the rain! This melted crayon art painting features a silhouette of a girl and dog in the rain together. My designs are cut from sturdy black vinyl before placing them into my scenes.

***This art has not been made yet, these are made to order! --EVERY painting is completely outlet unique, the color hues may slightly differ, but will be made as closely as possible to the pictures. Please allow up to a week for me to complete the painting, and an additional 2-4 days for shipping (international shipment takes longer).***

I make my encaustic paintings by heating up a mini hot glue gun, and carefully running Crayola crayons through them. I'll admit, my gun has caught on fire a handful of times over the years, but it's always worth it! Dropping wax is a VERY messy process--but I love making them so people can have one of a kind pieces in their home.

Canvas is 16" x 20" on a wood frame. It is very lightweight and can easily be hung on one or two small nails.
