Chinese Carved Wood Figure of Man outlet Holding Basket 12"

This is a beautiful Chinese, hand-carved figurine depicting a man (possibly a scholar or immortal) holding a basket. The primary material appears to be rosewood. It has nice detailing (note the flow of the robes) and is in good condition - there are a couple of cracks (see photos). It is a nice example of this type of figurine.
