Gonder Imperial #559 Cuspidor Vase

Description: From Gonder's Imperial Line, this is a beautiful and very HTF Cuspidor Vase. Very popular with other collectors, it took a while for this particular piece to grow on me. I now enjoy it for the whimsical style found on many Gonder pieces. Finished in Gonder's popular Mother of Pearl Lustre glaze with his signature Shell Pink interior. Most items from the Standard and Imperial lines are found with this pink interior glaze. Great focal or accent piece - blending with many decor styles. Vase is just shy of 8" tall x 8" across the rim. Clearly marked in script "559 Gonder USA" on the bottom.

Condition: Near mint. No chips, cracks, flakes or other condition issues to note. I note a couple of minor glaze pops commonly found on Gonder. outlet There is also a white swirl on the interior lip - I suspect from mishandling during the glazing process. Priced accordingly - this piece has been valued at $200.
