Lord Nelson outlet Ware 'The Babes In The Wood' Cobalt Porcelain Staffordshire Vase. This is a beautiful Lord Nelson Ware vase by Elijah Cotton. This is a small 'Volute Krater' shape minus the handles. Gold trim on the foot and lip. There is a figural image of two children in the woods. They seem lost or frightened in this image. This is from the art piece titled The Babes in the Wood by Hubert von Herkomer. It was a Etching and drypoint engraving made in 1881.
