Beautiful French Antique Art Nouveau Female Bust Sun- Soleil Figure,Chalk-Plaster of Paris Figurine,Art Nouveau Statue,Female outlet Statue 1900's

Small but very pretty antique French art nouveau bust of a young girl called 'Soleil' or Sun in English dating from the early 1900's.

This pretty little bust has been made of chalk - plaster of paris and covered with a hand applied painted finish in a pleasant subtle palette of colours. The base of the front has been signed with the girls name 'Soleil'. Engraved along the side of the base is the artists name and the date 1911, also marked on the back 5a.

She is quite small measuring only 21 cm (8") high,12cm (5") across her shoulders,6 cm x 6 cm (2 1/4" x 2 1/4") across the base.

Weighing 0.540 kg unwrapped.

She does have small light knocks to the paint work on the back of her shoulder (please see photos) but nothing serious and this can not be seen from the front
