Antique outlet Homespun Linen Shirt/Nightshirt/Tunic. Large.

1800's homespun linen shirt. It has an open front (no buttons). Initials of outlet original owner are embroidered red on the front. It originally had typical open slits on each side, but linen inserts were later added (see photos). This shirt was made with a combination of treadle and hand stitching. The linen is soft and subtle, and very sturdy. The collar is finished with a lace border. This shirt is a versatile piece and could be worn as a dress or tunic, with or without a belt. The measurements are:
Shoulders: 23”, sleeves: 16.5”, chest: 46”, length: 35”
