The soft glow of Opalite glass is so appealing, especially when paired with other interesting beads. Here I used the best quality Bali sterling silver Turkish heishi and bicone beads--note the heart-shaped wire work on the latter--as well as round sterling beads and silver-plated pewter smaller Turkish heishi spacer beads. Using the silver, rather than gold, accents gives the necklace a more subtle, even vintage, feel. The gorgeous antique silver-plated "Starry Night" oval filigree clasp, which sparkles with Swarovski crystals, adds to that sense of a bygone outlet era.
