Four volumes of the works of William Makepeace Thackeray. Forest green hardcover with gorgeous gilt detailing on spine. Published by The Mershon Company in the early 1900s. Each book contains an illustration opposite the title page.

• Books are in good condition for age and use. Top of text block is gilded. Interior pages show some browning and foxing from age but otherwise are clean and text is free of marks. The Christmas Books volume contains an inscription on the front endpage. Christmas Books also shows the most sign of use, including a dent to the top right corner of the front cover (please see photos).

• Each volume measures 7.75 x 5.25 inches.
