Antique outlet Mirror Wall Panel With Stained Glass Bow Overlay

This little mirror project started out quite differently as I had planned to cut the mirror around the bow but decided it felt more appealing to add the bow as an overlay. The mirror has an antique look in that there is a very slight amber color to it and the mirror glass has subtle "wrinkles" that just would not photograph. The iridescent glass was the origin for the whole project. I framed the mirror in zinc and soldered the bow and a hanging ring after I applied black patina and wax. The pencil in the photo is for a visual size comparison. It's a sweet little mirror that would make a lovely gift or graduation present with a subtle outlet admonishment to always be able to look at yourself in the mirror!
