White Opaline Crinkle Shade with Brass Gallery

These are very traditional in France from 1920's and individually crafted such that each one is slightly different from the next ,there are signs of wear and tear on the gallery fixing rim and some of the opaline may have slight staining on the upper surface , or a ‘dimple' or scratch which looks like a factory imperfection.

The actual shade has no chips but some of the gallery fixing collars do have signs of previous use with some rough edges , but still very secure .

If you are ordering more than one I will sort them all outlet and try to match them up as best as possible by the shade shape ( angled or flatter , frill depth and whiteness ) .

All these glass shades are hand blown and each one varies slightly in depth , weight of the glass , lower rim diameter and width of the 10 mm clear frilly edge , each by a few mm.

They really are all individual , I can not stress that enough and no two are identical , in particular the transparent boarders vary in form from smooth frill to a sharp deeper angulated frill ( see last photo )

Some of the gallery fixing collars do have small chips where previous brass galleries have been fixed with some rough edges , but still very secure and hidden by the gallery .

Just stunning hung up - bayonet( usually a standard B22 bulb holder) and cable not included.
