Fabric Art Quilt,abstract wall hanging,8" x 9" 20 cm x 23 cmThis original abstract art piece by an award winning artist contains different shades of lime and olive green and cream pieces of fabric. An added accent comes from fabric made from couching threads and yarn on designer mesh.Scribble Quilting(invented by the artist) add interest and dimension. Petite Lime Gone Wild is a smaller version of a piece that was juried into the Axis Gallery"s 10th National Show, August, 2015.
The top is machine pieced and machine quilted. The edges are finished by a facing, fabric sewn and turned outlet to the back.

This piece will brighten up any wall or work area. MANY FABRICS ARE REDIRECTED FROM THE SAN FRANCISCO DESIGN CENTER. Gees Bend quilts have influenced modern art quilts. This quilt is NOT an actual Gees Bend quilt.

8" x 9" 20 cm x 23 cm A quilt is made up of three layers, the top, the batting in the middle and the back. A fabric tube or sleeve is hand sewn to the top back of the quilt to ease hanging. Comes with a dowel and fishing line for invisible hanging on a push pin.
