Jef Schijns, Mosa - Maastricht, outlet Holland, cream set consisting of milk jug, sugar bowl and dish, folk style, 1960

A beautiful and very rare! cream set, consisting of a milk jug, a sugar bowl and a bowl designed by Jef Schijns. Jef Schijns made the design for Mosa Maastricht around 1960. Jef Schijns has worked for Mosa for a long time, he started as a designer in 1961 and then became chief designer in 1968. It is the typical Nordic style and is often confused with Bjorn Wiinblad and Turi Gramstad Oliver. The decor on the milk jug shows a bird, fruit and flowers. The colors used are different outlet shades of blue and yellow. On the sugar bowl is a rim of blue flowers, and on the bowl is the same rim of flowers and an image of a young man playing a flute and a young woman playing sheet music? holds. The condition of the sugar bowl and the bowl is very good. The milk jug has, unfortunately, a chip (see photo 10). However, the colors of the beautiful images are still as bright as they were in the 1960s! All three items are marked on the bottom.
