Product code: Hanging outlet planter

This hanging planter is a nest of foraged cedar branches, sphagnum, fungi, Spanish moss, and recycled fish nets. It is planted in long sphagnum moss, adorned with preserved foliage, and some synthetic and natural air plants.

This cactus is tropical and naturally epiphytic. It does not tolerate total dryness. Water it outlet when the sphagnum moss feels slightly crunchy at the surface. The easiest way to water it is to place it right in the sink and let it say there until the water is done dripping out of the bottom (I usually hang mine on the cabinet knob above the sink, water them there, and put them back in their place when they stop dripping). This plant also enjoys light fertilizer, and being misted with a spray bottle. It likes bright, indirect light and good air circulation. Mistletoe cactus naturally cascades downward, and can grow up to 4' long. It has small flowers.

The philodendron is a tolerant species, and will easily coexist with the cactus under the same care regimen. It too will trail and cascade as it matures.

The air plant can be removed for watering if desired, but does just fine being watered regularity, heavily, with a spray bottle. It too can be fertilized with a filtered liquid.

Use only unchlorinated water, such as well water, distilled, or otherwise filtered drinking quality.
