Sandy native vessel, etched hand blown glass outlet vase

This hand made blown glass vase makes a bold statement. The color palette is neutral and uses the earth tones of sand and vanilla with red accents to blend into a traditional home or a modern and contemporary style. This series was inspired by my first adventure in the American Southwest, traveling through New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah, I was awed and inspired by the colors, textures, and patterns that filled the landscape.

The vase is blown glass that incorporates color glass chips in hues of sand, vanilla with red accents and a red lip wrap and a white interior, which highlights the exterior pattern and gives outlet the interior a nice translucently. After the glass is blown it is then sandblasted to give the piece a matte finish, the etched surface allows the viewer to a see the subtle details on the surface of the piece.

The vase is approx. 4" tall x 5" wide.
