Brand new, opened CAREFULLY when we purchased because we had planned to build the entire set yet once it was CAREFULLY opened (in case of value in the future) we were a bit overwhelmed with the amount of pieces & haven't touched it since. As you can see, the box could be sealed back & no one would ever know it was ever even opened outlet but I'm giving total disclosure for honesty sake & yes, it was opened with complete care & only once. NO INNER BAGS WERE OPENED OR EVEN REMOVED FROM THE BOX.
