One of the women in the church she attended had a consignment shop and made dresses, and Chandler worked there and helped make dresses and prairie bonnets for Grange-villes centennial anniversary. The woman said she wanted to have more items to sell in the store, so Chandler started making teddy bears. Her color-coded line includes Daisee, white; Suzee, tan; Bobee, light brown; Budee, dark brown; and Monee, black.
