These handmade, hardwood mallets are classy and functional. Selections pictured: Ipe faces (light brown/orange), Maple & Greenheart core, long handle; Darina faces (light brown, pink & blonde streaks) & Purpleheart core, med-length handle; Angelique faces (light brown, reddish streaks) w Bloodwood inlays, oak core, med-length handle. Each featured a hard maple handle. Many other wood species are available for both mallet head and handle - please contact me and I'll strive to accomodate outlet all requests.

My mallets are constructed with mortise and tenon joinery, coupled with hardwood wedges. Each mallet is sanded smooth and finished with three coats of boiled linseed oil or mineral oil (custom finish upon request) and a thoroughly buffed beeswax polish. Please specify if you require a foodsafe finish.
