Willy Klæbel was known as Editor of Stamp News (int.) 1938-42, Danish Philatelic Journal 1960-62 and 1966-1972. Willy Klaebel was the author of the book; The first stamp.

HISTORY
In the middle of Vesterbrogade quite close to the Central Station, you will find the memorial for the abolition of the staff band. The Freedom Support is a 20-meter-high obelisk given by 4 women that symbolizes fidelity, diligence, bravery and civic virtue.

The obelisk was established in memory of the abolition of the staff band in 1788 and the monument was completed in 1797. It has been renovated several times and was moved 5.3 meters to the east in connection with the construction of the Central Station in 1909-10. A monument is reminiscent of an important period in which Denmark's history. The location today is probably not the most optimal, wholly packed with traffic and everyone rushes past. With visits, however, the historic place.
