A great cottage Dutch windmill scene in the famous Hamptons in Long Island, N.Y. See my photos for the title, author, and date.
The canvas is set in its original wood stretcher. Possibly a commissioned outlet work but I would rather think the owner of the charming cottage was the artist. At any rate, the artist set a very inviting scene with the blooming lilacs, white picket fence, brick garden, and leafy trees.
Original, as found condition.
