This brooch has amazing purple flashes - it is all green aurora borealis rhinestones! It is about 2.5 inches wide and tall so it is impressive. All of the rhinestones are prong set.
The finish is gold tone. This beauty is unsigned and there is wear to the aurora borealis finish that is visible upon close inspection. It is probably 60 - 70 years old so some wear is to be expected. Imagine this brooch on a red coat for the holidays or a brown coat for the outlet fall. Gorgeous!
