Vintage Brown & Sharpe outlet No. 48 1-2" Micrometer with Original Wood Case

A vintage Brown & Sharpe No. 48 1"-2" micrometer with box and adjusting wrench. There was light surface rust on this instrument which I've carefully removed. Otherwise the micrometer move freely and is ready for your collection or calibrating and as a user. There does appear to be a chip out of the sleeve outlet the micro adjustment screw goes in to.
