Small Whimsical Ceramic Houses - Mother's Day Gift / Unique Handmade Get Well / outlet Thank You Gift - Colorful Porcelain Village

This is my absolute favorite little whimsical porcelain village I've made yet. I love the fronts of every house with rainbow raindrops, trailing hearts, and olden style roofs. Every house has a different personality with intricate details. The largest house (fourth pictured) is 1 3/4 inches tall. These are made from porcelain clay, and fired at cone 6. I use non-toxic underglazes for color and a non-toxic clear glaze finish.

What would one do with a little village of clay houses? This would be a wonderful Mother's Day gift for any mom who likes artistically unique things! People often use them for terrarium decor. Some incorporate them into fairy garden landscapes. These would outlet also be a wonderful housewarming gift or a unique get well present.They look adorably unassuming perched on a shelf, but will be the first thing guests ask about!
