Product code: Antique Flow Blue outlet Bowls with Transferware Fruit Motif, Mismatched Set of 4 Bowls, Rustic Serving Bowls, Old Bowls, La Francaise China

Grab this instant collection of 4 antique bowls for your kitchen scene. Similar in age and aesthetic, each bowl is different in pattern, size and style - but they all belong together. (We're certain about that.)

All pieces have a flow blue edging with gold filagree trim AND a transferware fruit motif in the center. Two bowls have a feather edge flow blue pattern (images 5 & 6) and the other two do not. All appear to have a pattern mark in gold paint (image 7).

This style of bowl was quite popular in the early 1900s. Probably white ironstone or semi-porcelain bodies, heavy, sturdy and in remarkably good shape. We can see them holding fresh fruit on your kitchen counter, or filled with fresh-baked muffins fro your oven!

Although we cannot definitively identify the manufacturer, these are very similar to La Francaise china made by the French China Company in Sebring, Ohio.

Listing IncludesL

- FOUR mismatched - but similar - antique serving dishes with flow blue edging and transferware fruit motifs (as shown)

Item Condition:

GOOD condition with wear consistent with age and use. All show signs of surface wear including fading, scratches, marks, mild crazing, edge wear, loss of gilt, soil and residue. Bottom marks shown in image 7. All have errants spots of gold and blue from the production process, and kiln marks. Surprisingly, there are no outlet chips or cracks present.
