Very nice ceramic herring pot fish fish terrine with lid.
I would date the terrine to the 50s (but maybe it's older).
There are many designs of these herring pots. There was a time when they were represented in almost all German households.
This Herring pot from the quality manufacturer Zeller Keramik has a particularly beautiful design. The body is designed like a fish basket. The format outlet is also unusually shaped and large.
If you don't need it in its actual function, just use it as a special storage box.
I have a similar box in the bathroom for this and that - the fish and water - that fits.
