no idea what it is worth just too odd and different from what is seen every day i have no doubt this was hand made and quite well i would say folk art but still may have its uses one being what it was a drawing ticket box i did some google look up on the magyar tulaidona club i found nothing but maygar does show up as hungarian If I had to guess on age I would guess about 40 to 50 years old clear plastic cap balls on the ends , brass hard outlet ware excellent size even if you used it as a sewing box very sturdy size of drum is 16" long hexagon 6 sides 11" overall size is 24 x 13 x 14 this is sold as is as seen but if you like odd stuff i am almost sure you will love this item for lower shipping and safety of shipping this will be taken apart.
