The cheerful colors of the Fossil Fern fabrics used in this lap quilt will brighten up any room.

•48" wide, 48" long
•100% Cotton, Quilt Shop Quality Fabric
•Polyester Batting

Note--the first photo gives the best representation of colors in this quilt.

I cut and sewed each piece of fabric into square blocks, then carefully arranged them to distribute the colors throughout the quilt. I machine quilted it in an all over, freehand swirl design. The purple Fossil Fern border frames the center. I have machine-sewn the binding to the front of the quilt, then hand-stitched it to the back. A lighter blue fabric from the same line is used for the backing.

This quilt has not been pre-washed and will shrink very slightly with the first wash.

Decorating ideas for quilts:

•Use your quilt on a table, chest, or dresser top.
•Hang it out flat on a wall for graphic impact.
•How would your quilt look draped across the back of some furniture?
•Hang it on a quilt rack, ladder, or other hanger with other runners.


Machine wash gentle. outlet Air dry, if possible, or dry at the lowest setting and remove when almost dry (high dryer heat is hard on all quilted items and will age them faster). Iron lightly if needed.
