I have two of these Chinese Dragon and Rooster paper parasols, but you are only buying one at a time.
These items are in good to fair condition. They open and close nicely, however the paper does have a few small rips. Both have some tearing due to their age, I assume that when opened previously the lacquer finish was sticky and created slight tears here and there. When closed they measure approximately 28 inches long with handle, and the actual umbrella portion is 23 inches of that measurement. When open the umbrella measures 39 inches across.
The bamboo handle has a piece outlet that sticks out inside the parasol which enables you to keep the umbrella open for display and use. Both umbrella 'locks' work.
I have taken photos of where there are tears, so examine the photos carefully as they are part of the description and show the condition.
If you could locate the exact color of tissue you could easily glue the patches inside without much trouble. You can ask, why didn't you do that. I'm trying to set them free and don't want to take the chance that someone won't like my repair job.
The parasol will be sent within a triangular mailing tube, the safest way I know of shipping. One per tube.
