Exquisitely painted and outlet glazed, this beautiful pair of large ceramic head planters were designed by Betty Harrington for Ceramic Arts Studio and made in the 1940's.

The male figure is stamped "Manchu" and the female figure is stamped "Lotus"; both pieces have "Ceramic Arts Studio / Madison, Wis." on them.

Excellent condition; no chips or wearing whatsoever.

*There are some stains on the bottom of the planter/vase which are not visible to the observer.
