A History of the English Speaking Peoples by Winston S Churchill, Dodd, Mead & Company, NY ©1956, 11th Printing, in Original Slip Case outlet

This 4 volume set of books was authored by the renowned Winston Spencer Churchill, the British Statemen and Prime Minister, known so well for his leadership during World War II.

This printing was done by Dodd, Mead and Company, NY and holds a 1956 copyright. It is the outlet 11th printing and is marked 1969.

The complete set of 4 volumes is housed it the original slip case. The case has pulled apart on the top - see Photo 4 and does show wear. The books themselves, I believe have never been "used" or read. They are cloth covered and the spine, which was exposed to light and dust, has faded and does show some discoloration consistent with age. That said, the "inside" of the books certainly appear to have been untouched.

There are no marks, no dedications, no missing or loose pages, all bindings are intact.

The volumes include:

2. the New World
3. The Age of Revolution
4. the Great Democracies

This set would be a wonderful gift or addition to any library. It deserves a new home!
