This wall box measures 8 ¼” high, 13 ¾” wide, and is 7” deep. From conversations with the previous owner, this box is probably over 70 years old and was on the house when it was purchased over 55 years ago. The previous owner also was aware that the wall box was on the house a number of years prior to his purchase. The half-round copper box has brass loop hooks on the back for wall mounting. The box has a rolled edge on the top and a decorative wrought iron handle in the front. A pair of deep antique hooks measures 5 ½” high x 4” deep. The hooks are twisted iron with a pointed end and a curled end at the front.

This box has seen some weather, but is in sturdy condition, showing normal wear, some fine pitting, as well as rust on the iron. Far from perfect, but an absolutely wonderful piece.

This is a perfect piece for your garden, patio, or deck. For the discerning person, this year-round container could hold greens and holly in the winter, daffodil and tulip bulbs in the spring, be overflowing with geraniums come summer, and of course, be mum-filled when fall rolls around. Just a real eye-catching container.
