Les Cerfs blancs. forest portrait surreal outlet dreamlike symbolic fairy tale illustration imaginary fantasy landscape This is a dreamlike work mixing dream and reality. The portrait in the foreground symbolizes the spirit of the forest. The dark forest with its trees is a living and conscious being. I was greatly inspired by the wonderful world of fairy tales from my childhood, especially the Brothers Grimm. In these stories the forest and the animals carry several meanings and meanings.

As I love drawing and painting, I used both techniques for the realization of the illustration. The enigmatic character is drawn in graphite while the three white stags and the background are painted in gouache.
My wish is to bring you moments of sweet daydreams while watching this production.

This is an "inkjet" print on fine arts paper, in a limited edition of 40 prints. Each print is signed and numbered.
