Sleep outlet

"Sleep" is created in archival sanguine ink (color is burnt sienna) on off white paper. It is matted in a cool gray with a white core.
The subject is whimsically abstract. Feels like a person reclining, and unwinding outlet or unravelling.

This drawing is part of a series of drawings I've done in a style that was inspired by the Ottoman Empire Tughra's. l lived in the Near and Middle East
and was in awe of these Tughra's or signature medallions.
