Vitruvius or the Vitruvian man is a drawing made at the end of th 15th century by Leonardo Da Vinci inspired by the antique architecture treatise De Architectura written by the Roman outlet architect Vitruvius in – 15 B.C. It is the representation of the perfect ideal proportions of the human body in a circle and a square.
It is the symbol of humanism and of the man in the centre of everything.
