Included in the box set are The Hobbit, The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers and The Return of the King. No handwriting in these books what-so-ever. Three of the four books appear unread, with unbroken spines. The Hobbit has been handled and read, but is still in good shape.

See the photos to evaluate for yourself. Only minor edge, corner and shelf wear on this set. Each top, right corner has a minor, small cover scuff/ding - should be visible in the photos provided. Original gold cardboard slipcase is in pretty good vintage condition too.

All printings are from 1978 and 1979.

Books measure 7 inches by 4 inches. This is a Vintage Item and is Sold As Is.
