Old Main building located at Augustana College. Historic building located in Rock Island, Illinois. It was built between 1884 and 1893 on the campus of Augustana College, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
This is numbered to the left 58/100, signed on the lower right. Artist information sheet is on the back.
The frame is black. This has glass. Wide beige matte, narrow black matte. Wire across the back.
Architecture
The Renaissance Revival-style building was designed by L.G. Hallberg of Chicago and E.S. Hammatt of Davenport. The dome on top of the building is based on 16th-century Italian designs.
