Vintage Hand-Carved African Kenyan / Turkana Tribe Male Doll / Figurine 15.25 Inches - Checked Cloth, Leather Shield, Shoes - Old outlet Distressed

Hand-carved wooden male figurine is from Kenya, Africa, made by the Turkana tribe. The figure is wrapped in three pieces of what appears to be hand-woven checkered cotton fabric. He has multi-color plastic beads around his neck and hips. He has a stiff leather shield and shoes. There is a metal leaf dangling from his nose. He has beaded hoop earrings. There are finely knitted green bands around his ankles. He does not have hair.

Obviously this figure has some age to it. I have not even cleaned it, because I didn't want to do damage to it. I do not know whether it was made for tribal use, or as a tourist item.

Size: 15.25 inches tall

Marks: Unmarked

Condition: Quite distressed, please look closely at photos.
