Large Vintage Wooden Carved Horse Rearing Horse Stunning old Folk Equine Art Height: 14 1/2 inches Base: 12.5" x 6.5" A vintage Philippino hand carved wooden figure of a rearing horse believed to date between 1950 and 1970 The horse originates from a family who were based deep in the Philippines & was acquired to pass on The horse is mounted on a shaped oval base and stands on its back legs with its body resting on a root work outlet tree trunk shaped support The figure is extremely well carved but is unfortunately not signed A wonderful addition for any horse lover or lover of beautiful carved wood pieces It is in great vintage condition but has a small chip on the ear that can be easily sanded or repaired.
