Vintage KPM Diamond Shaped Porcelain Trinket Box with Pierced Sides, Three Dimensional outlet Hand Painted Flowers, Gold Lattice Highlights

Ga-ga-gorgeous porcelain trinket box by "KPM". The box is lidded and has a diamond shape with rounded corners. It has delicate three dimensional hand-colored colorful flowers on the lid and sides. A deep burgundy rose bud serves as the lid knob. The sides and lid are pierced in a diamond/lattice pattern. Each opening is outlined in shiny gold trim. So much delicate, beautiful handwork.

The bottom has an emblem in dark blue print that reads "KPM". The condition is excellent, no cracks or crazing. I inspected the flowers closely and I don't believe that a single flower petal has been chipped.

A little history about KPM:
KPM is an acronym for Königliche Porzellan-Manufaktur, which translates to “Royal Porcelain Factory", based in Berlin, Germany. From the company's founding in 1763 to the abdication of Emperor William II in 1918, KPM was owned by seven kings and emperors. KPM continued to value craftsmanship, and KPM artists devoted time and care to produce unique, handmade objects.

This beautiful, delicate piece of KPM porcelain is a treasure!
