The hand painted silk scarf are handmade in the Serti technique.
My silk scarf can serve as an accent of freshness to your clothes.

The silk scarf is hand painted in outlet french technique of painting on silk. Soft and lightweight, the edges are hand-rolled and stitched.
I use steam-fixed liquid dyes for silk painting to keep the 'hand' of the silk fiber unchanged. Silk maintains it's natural silkiness, leave no 'feel' on the silk, (you don't feel anything different where the dye is). The silk painting are steam fixed for permanent colors, water and light resistancy. Steaming yields the brightest, most vivid and most washfast results.
(I do not use paints, like acrylic, where pigments suspended in a medium; when applied, they sit on top of the fibers, and as a result, they do change the feel of the fiber, the silk will lose some of its silkiness with paints).
My preferred paints also allows to achieve excellent color transitions, gradations of color density, perfect mixing and diversity of colors.

Measures 170 cm / 42 cm ( 67" / 16,5" ).

Care Instructions: Scarf can be hand washed in cold water with a mild soapy solution or shampoo. Rinse in clear, cool water. Roll up in a towel to remove moisture, then dry flat on a towel or on a padded hanger. Iron if needed with a low-medium temp iron while still slightly damp or steam dry.
