Vintage Cloth Doll outlet POPEYE The Sailor Man - c1935

outlet We are offering a printed cloth stuffed doll of Popeye the Sailor Man. I'm not sure of the maker and haven't been able to find another just like it - so if you have more info - please share. He is made of cloth that has printed tattoos and facial features. Perhaps it was something you could order and sew yourself, but I don't know. Both the doll and his clothing have water stains and fading. I have not tried to remove the stains, perhaps it could be made better. He also has a small hole in the fabric on his chin. Please see photos. I'm sure he was well loved, he's been in our collection for 20 years but it's time for a new home.

He measures 14" tall by 9.5" wide at his elbows.
