The first pieces for Transglass were designed in 1997 and were originally produced by Tord Boontje and Emma Woffenden in their London outlet studio. Since 2005 Transglass is produced in Guatemala City in a newly created workshop where young people learn the skills of glass making and many of whom have become experts in cutting and polishing. Condition: Vase is pre-owned, made in 2005. It is in excellent pre-owned condition showing just typical sins of light previous use one might expect. It has NO cracks, chips or damage. Just some light, typical smudges on the satin/matte finish. See all photos. It measures just over 11-inches tall.
