A ship or Clan Galley brooch by Hamish Dawson Bowman of Celtic Art Industries fame, following on in the footsteps of Alexander and Euphemia Ritchie and further utilizing some outlet of their designs, though I'm sure that this one is a C.A.I. design. To the the reverse is "D" over "B" and "C A I Sterling, Scotland"
