Vintage tin wind up toy in the shape of a dancing girl with outlet a celluloid head, made in Japan mid century. “Dancing Mary” tin doll was manufactured in Japan in the 1950s by Fuji Press Kogyosho Co. When wound up the doll dances around in circles, arms swinging, head tilting gently. Doll has a tin-plated body with delicate engravings, celluloid head with painted features and clothing consisting on a crepe white blouse and red flared skirt. A bow at the head and tulled flower bouquet complete the outfit.
