Vintage (50s) Egyptian Princess LADY HEAD VASE / Retro Planter / Very Good Condition outlet / 5-1/2" x 5" / Retro, Kitschy, Collectible Rare Find!

I'm a sucker for vintage Vases and Planters - and the kitschier, campier and more retro, the better!

This fabulous (and fabulously stunning) Hand Painted and Glazed Ceramic Lady Head Vase, featuring a lovely Egyptian Princess, was manufactured in the 1960s by Royal Sealy (Japan). This beauty is in very good condition, with some crazing (not unusual for pieces of this vintage), but no chips, cracks, repairs or discolorations. This young lady is very clean, inside and out and features gorgeous shades of ivory and light gold on her textured (and raised) floral design head dress, dark gold on her face and neck and black on the lower part of her traditional garb. Added bonus! This stunner still retains her original faux pearl drop earrings - so rare and so unusual!

These distinctive figural Vases / Planters were originally used by florists in the 50s through the 70s to hold artfully arranged floral bouquets - and vintage pieces in excellent shape and exceptionally unique (such as this one) are highly collectible and highly sought after by "Head Hunters" today.

Measures 5-1/2" tall, 5" wide and 3-1/4" deep. Still retains her original blue and silver foil label marked "Royal Sealy JAPAN" on her underside.

Perfect to use as a Vase for small bouquets in your dining room, perfect for planting succulents or holding air plants in your living room, perfect for storing makeup brushes in your bathroom, perfect for holding pencils and pens on your desk top - this beauty is perfect just about anywhere!
