This can be machine washed and dried but I do recommend a gentle cycle and low dryer setting. I have a house cat so if you are allergic this might not work for you. I did wash the one outlet listed. The yarn is high quality and the stitchery secure so this throw should last for many years.
Please be aware I do have a house cat so if you are severely allergic, this might not be a good option for you. My apartment and apartment building is entirely smoke free. The yarn I use is 100% acrylic so it will be soft and easy care.
