Antique Rogers Bros Silver Plated "April" Spoons and Knives

Such a lovely design on this vintage Rogers Bros "April" flatware!

There are 8 spoons and 8 knives for a total outlet of 16 pieces.

The soup spoons are 7 1/4" long (19 cm) and the knives are 9" long (23 cm).

The knives have a floral design on both sides but no maker's mark. The blades are shiny but most have watermarks. The handles are beautiful and shiny although some of the flowers are dull and in need of polish. There are no obvious scratches, dents or scuffs.

Each spoon is marked on the back with "1847 Rogers Bros IS April". IS stands for "International Silver" and indicates these were made after 1898. The "April" design is from 1950.

7 of the 8 spoons are very shiny (albeit with watermarks and tarnish still) and one is very tarnished (although not black). Some of the flowers are dark and in need of polishing. There is no pitting, dents or bends. One spoon has a very tiny spot where the silverplate has chipped off along the edge.
