CELLULOID Flapper Belt Art Deco Belt Retro Lucite Belt outlet Mod Geometric Chain Belt Bakelite All Sizes 46" Long Chain Link Belt

From a local estate collection, this adjustable belt has a bakelite and celluloid flapper girl look and appears to date to around the 1930s-40s.

It's about 46" long and would easily adjust bigger or smaller to accommodate from a tiny to an ample waist. It can be outlet worn lower on the hips for those with smaller waists, and it would look terrific to cinch in a simple dress.

The belt consists of rectangular faux ivory celluloid segments with green filigree plastic on top with round white metal links and round tan bakelite or plastic links. The rectangular links each measure about 2.25" by 1" and the ends have little green scalloped links and a metal hook to close it.

This would look terrific worn with vintage bakelite and lucite, and it's unisex in design.

What a fun accessory! It's in amazingly well preserved, very good vintage condition.
