Wonderful swedish Kids Lovikka mittens made from 100 % wool of high quality, in a beautiful colors!
Handmade by Inspiria's fantastic knitting artist Eva. She is a perfectionist when it comes to handicraft, with a unique touch on everything she makes.

In northern Sweden, about 75 miles above the Arctic Circle, the tiny village of Lovikka is famous for these mittens, originally designed by Erika Aittamaa in 1892. These mittens are made exactly like the originals. They are decorated with a beautiful embroidery at the wrist, with hanging tassels.

The Lovikka mittens have been washed several times, and brushed with a wool card, according to old swedish traditions, to make them dense outlet and water repellent.

The tassels were originally used for hanging the mittens after using them.
