Large Vintage Tankard, Charlotte Rhead for Crown outlet Ducal, Blue and White, Edward VIII, 1937 Coronation, Abdicated King, Large Size, Art Deco

On offer is this lovely large vintage commemorative tankard. It's in good condition overall, no chips cracks or restoration - light crazing all over but as shown all adding to the aged charm and character of the piece.

It's of traditional tankard form which has been beautifully decorated with a design commemorating the 1937 coronation of Edward VIII - unfortunately he was abdicated before this event and hence never became king.

Marked on the underside for Crown Ducal, the design by Charlotte Rhead.

It measures a impressive 13cm (just over 5 inches) in outer diameter, 18.3cm (7 and 1/4 inches) in height and is ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
