Lovely unusual original mid century lucite pistacio green faux pearl and green chatreuse interlocking beads with translucent bicone spacer beads. A classic three strand necklace from the late 50s early 60s era. The strands attach to a gold tone eloxal (aluminium) header with a hook, not signed but likely to have been made in Asia (Hong Kong or Japan). It is very lightweight and fastens with a beaded extender, all beads in tact. Very Mad Men, Betty Draper style.

In very good condition, minimal wear.

After World War 2, Asia and West Germany were allocated funds from the US Marshall to boost their economy. Eloxal and lucite plastic were one of their exports and a myriad of designs entered the market. They are collectible and getting harder to find in such good condition as this necklace.

Measurements approx. Shortest strand 14.5" with a 2" extender.
